V Resorts Lake Alpi Kumbhalgarh

Located on a hilltop, some 1,100 metres above sea level, the majestic Kumbhalgarh Fort stands tall, defining the skyline of the region. Built in the 15th century, the massive fort houses 360 Jain and Hindu temples and is also believed to have been the birthplace of Maharana Pratap. Spare a day or some good 4-5 hours to explore the fort and its temples. Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary (23 km) is another attraction. A safari through the dense green forests lets you catch the sight of sambar, deer, jungle cat etc. One of the most popular safari routes is Kumbhalgarh to Thandi Beri. You can also go on nature treks and walks in the sanctuary along with a guide. If you don’t mind a two-hour-long drive, explore the offbeat town of Ghanerao in Pali district.
